Required Documents

Aadhaar Card :

Aadhar is a primary document for residency proof in Delhi.

Passport :

Passport can also be used to prove residency.

Ration Card :

Ration card is another acceptable proof of residency

Voter ID :

Voter ID card is a valid proof of residency.

Electricity/Water/Telephone Bill :

Utility bills can also be used

2. Proof of Caste/Community (OBC) :

OBC Certificate (if already issued) :

If you already have an OBC certificate, a copy of it will be needed.

Genealogical Affidavit (if applicable) :

In some cases, you may need to provide a genealogical affidavit explaining your relationship to the relative whose caste certificate you are providing.

3. Proof of Income :

Proof of Birth Applicant :

Provide one valid photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID.

Income Certificate of Parents/Husband/Wife (if applicable) :

You may need to provide an income certificate from the Circle Officer (if your parents/spouse are agriculturists) or from the controlling authority/Treasury Officer (if your parents/spouse are retired salaried individuals).

Income Tax Returns (ITR) :

ITR documents can be used to prove income.

Salary Slips/Form 16 :

These documents can also be used to prove income.

4. Other Required Documents :

Completed Application Form :

You'll need to complete the application form for the NCL certificate.

Photo ID Proof :

A photo ID proof is required

Self-Attested Copies of Documents :

You'll need to provide self-attested copies of the original documents

Photograph of the Applicant :

You may need to provide a recent photograph of yourself.
